Yup. Hindi dahil nakikiuso. As this month approaches, it will be my life’s transition from being happy go lucky to being serious. Here’s what will happen during this month:

• May 2 (Midterm Exams)
  So what’s the sense na holiday ngayon kung exam bukas? Review lang naman ang gagawin, walang pahinga. Thesis Writing from Introduction to Methodology ang coverage. Natatakot ako kasi yung teacher namin dito diko pa alam paano magpa-exam. First time ko sya naencounter.
• May 5 (Thesis Proposal)
  Right after the exams dapat fully poished na yung thesis proposal namin sa powerpoint. Ipepresent na kasi namin sa mga critics. Dito na magkakaalaman kung marereject or maaaccept yung title. Shet ayoko mag-back to zero. Sana maaccept.
• May 15+ (Final Exams)
  Syempre kakabahan ka talaga bawat exams. Dimo na yan maiiwasan. (Memaisulat lang)
• May 20+ (Enrollment)
  Bat kasali ito? Mag-aaral na kasi yung kapatid ko sa college this school year. Kaya doble gastos. Nung pag-enrol ko P529 palang bawat unit. After 4years P730 na. Buti nalang na-dean’s list ako nung last sem at makakaavail ako ng free half tuition. So dapat mamaintain ko yun. Graduating pa naman ako. Daming gastos.

So yun, first day namin kahapon. Sabe pupunta kami ng city hall ng Cotabato City. Dun daw kami magtatrabaho. So with our violet uniforms, pormado kaming pumunta dahil ang pupuntahan namin ay binansagang “People’s Palace”

Pero pagkapasok namin, ang sabe dumiretso kami sa likod ng hall. Grabe. Expected namin office pero ito ang dinatnan namin:

Sa MRF kami assigned. Material Recovery Facility. Pagawaan ng organic fertilizer and charcoal briquettes.

You know organic fertilizer means. It means worms and shit.

So pinahawak kami ng bulate. Para daw ma-feel namin ang importance nila. WHAT!? Good thing sanay ako humawak. Mahilig akong mamingwit nung bata pa ako. So i played with the worm

So after the short orientation pniatrabaho na kami.

Kahit labag sa kalooban namin este sikmura, okey lang. Nakakapagod pero everything is new kaya exciting! Mababait pa ang mga trabahante dun. Kaso mainit talaga.

Nadagdagan pa ng ka-hot-an ko. Jk.

So yun, kalbaryo na nga sa Thesis Writing. Ang daming kaartehan. Kelangan lahat ng sources ng mga sinasabe mo hindi obsolete study (Below 5 years ago). Ang hirap kalkalin ang internet. Lalo na pag yung nakikita mong sources dapat pang bilhin para mabasa ang full article.

Ayoko naman na wikipedia lang lahat ng source ko. Insulto yon sakin bilang isa sa mga estudyante na may long-time access sa internet. Dagdag pa tong malaking expectation ng NatSci Faculty sa batch namin. Dapat daw di pang-bata ang Theses Titles.

Sya nga pala, my proposed title is

“Influence of Stimulated Altered Gravity (∆g) on Reproduction Rate, Longevity and Aging of selected genera of Prokaryotic, Eukaryotic and Multicellular Organisms”

di pa yan final. 99% chance na mareject, tingnan mo naman ang bantot pakinggan. Just an update lang for my blog and just so you know if you care. Goodluck saken! :)

Its just for fun. Pero totoo tong sasabhin ko tungkol sakin no. Just in case lang na masali ako sa mga magiging foundation ng scientific breakthroughs in the future, this will be their reference sa magiging biography ko. Haha. De, pangarap ko kasi yun eh. So please bear with me. Hihi.

ELEMENTARY LIFE

• Avkari’s mom, being a Teacher, taught him how to read, write and count at the age of 5 even before admission to school. At younger age, he has been observed to be a naturalist, being curious on the things and phenomenon around him. Like, wondering why the moon follows him as he ride a vehicle,  why coffee doesn’t dissolve on cold water or why a bubble still float and seemingly not moving inside a bus even if its moving fast, etc. He is also interested in sports and later become one of the school’s track & field and soccer players. But after feeling pain when running, he refrain from participating in sports and later found out that his kneecap can dislocate as he run causing him severe pain and cannot walk for months. This makes him lose his membership, and later his interest, in sports. But it also serve as his advantage. His home stays make him read books in her mother’s encyclopedia collections, making him knowledgeable about the development of science and technology throughout history. And knowing the scientists behind it inspires him and dream to become one of them. He also finished reading Circling the Globe and becomes familiar with the people, culture, status, flag, map, history and lifestyle of other countries. He also became a little technician of their family. Being bored at home and at the same time, inspired by sci-fi movies, he used to assemble & disassemble  their damaged clocks, remote controls and electronic toys to make them work again—by stealing his father’s toolbox! But all of these hobby and interest become his little less priority when he stepped into highschool.

HIGHSCHOOL LIFE

• Opening him an oppurtunity to participate at school not in sports but on school paper, he enjoys writing and became the feature editor in their school paper. Feeling left behind by not joining sports, he join every indoor game, academic and literary activities in school like Poster and Slogan making, Scrabble and Quiz Bees. But his curiosity about things around him exists and become deeper. His choice to become a BSBio Student becomes a tricky decision for him. He always dream of becoming a scientist but he want to uplift his family by becomin a Doctor of medicine. But his parents want him to become an Engineer, just like his father. Of all pre-med courses, he then choose BSBio because he knew that before he can proceed to medicine, BSBio is a great chance for him to experience a scientist-like student life.

COLLEGE LIFE

• His admission to college even opened new doors of oppurtunities to improve his talents and widen his knowledge. He is offered by the administrators of his high school to layout their yearbook that develops  his skill in graphic designing. Being a BSBio student means a lot of visual presentation of his assigned topic to discuss, he uses his graphic designing skills to improve his visual aid like powerpoint presentation, but through this, he then develop his confidence on public speaking with brief, clear and easy-to-understand explanations. His exposure to social media like Facebook and Tumblr provides him an oppurtunity to apply his dream — a scientist-like experience. And his exposure to the internet as a whole provides him broader opportunities to research his life-long curiositites. Fascinated by science-fiction-like predictions of modern physics, he borrows mathematics-free physics books in the library authored by present-day famous scientists and understand concepts, theory and predictions of quantum, relativity and superstring theory.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

• Inspired by quantum physics, he recently envisions to incorporate this self-acquired knowledge with evolutionary biology as one of his proposed thesis in 2013. Since quantum theory and general relativity do not provide an observable phenomenon in everyday life or throughout the lifespan of an organism, maybe they will be applicable in the overall rate of evolution of a certain species that are locomotive (like animals, bacteria & protists) relative to those who are stationary (like plants & fungi) relative to the earth. Since, so far, there is no reference throughout the internet that explains or envisioned this idea, he is much confident the somehow he might be the one to pioneer it. This vision of him is so much for an undergraduate thesis, but its proposal might light an idea that will,  (hopefully, if will succeed) included as one of the major focus in the newborn branch of biology — Quantum Biology, “The Physics of Life”.
